Lake Huron Stewardship Guide

Working with the grain of local efforts, Tara developed a stewardship guide to communicate better management practices to people living on or near coastal dunes along Lake Huron. Using simple hand sketches and layman’s terms, the guide sought to educate landowners on the importance of maintaining the health of dune ecosystems to maintain the value of their land. The project involved a great deal of coordination between experts in dune ecology, community and non-governmental organizations, municipalities and local residents.
