An existing pool dominates the backyard space in this beautiful Montreal home. To increase the visual interest of the space, the surface surrounding the pool was upgraded with a strong yet simple repeating pattern of natural sandstone and vibrant strips of green grass. The pattern is complimented with simple, elegant plantings along the fence line and an interplay of lounging and dining areas across the pool.
This project earned an Honourable mention at the 2014 L’Association des Paysagistes Professionnels du Québec (APPQ) Design Competition.
It was completed while working at Stuart Webster Design in Montreal, QC.
