The highly frequented open space in Charlottetown was revamped to increase seating capacity and provide more durable surface for large gatherings.  With a multitude of access points, the concept played with irregular geometry, mimicking forms of quays that line the harbour. A lighthouse-inspired gazebo and coastal-themed plantings further honed in on shoreline themes.
